In Shakespeare's time (16th and 17th centuries), there weren't as many records as we have today. For example, I was born in the UK, and if someone knows my date of birth they can find out my mother and fathers' names, or if they know where I was born and my mother's name they can find out my date of birth. This is how genealogy (researching our family trees) works.

However, birth certificates did not exist when Shakespeare was born. We know that a baby called William Shakespeare was baptized in the right area on 26th April 1564, and babies are baptized 3 days after birth. So he was born 3 days before then, but there is no actual record of his birth. It is a similar case for other facts about his life. We don't know how he was educated, or who by, because the records don't exist. Some of what we know has come from documents about the purchase and sale of land.

Shakespeare died on April 23, this birthday.

He was a playwright, actor and company owner (I think he only owned part of the co though). He was born the same year Michelangelo died.
