My husband and I recently started out K3 visa process to get me (an Australian citizen) over to USA to live with him. To start the K3, you have to start with a I-130 package.
This package must include:
- Cover Letter
- Table of Contents
- Form I-130 (2 pages)
- Petitioner's Birth Certificate (the US Citizens only, front and back page)
- Marriage Certificate (photocopy, not a scanned image or the original one)
- Petitioner's G-325A (4 identical copies)
- Petitioner's Passport Photo (1 passport-style photo with full name written on the back of the person, inside a sealed plastic bag stapled onto an A4 page)
- Relatives G-325A (4 identical copies)
- Relatives Passport Photo (1 passport-style photo with full name written on the back of the person, inside a sealed plastic bag stapled onto an A4 page)
- Evidence of Bonafide Relationship, can be either
- Documentation showing joint ownership or property
- A lease showing joint tenancy of a common residence
- Documentation showing co-mingling of financial resources
- Birth certificates of children born to both of you
- Affidavits
- Any other relevant documentation to establish that there is an ongoing martital union
My husband and I provided Affidavits by people that were at our wedding as well as a few pages of captioned photographs showing a timeline of our relationship. The photo's showed both of us together with my hair at different lengths as well as a few photo's from our wedding.
