a) lighter fluid, match
b) flint
c) dry wood or sticks
for a and b dry wood is necessary of course. you can make a handmade fire by placing one of the sticks upright and quickly rubbing it between your hands with palms flat and fingertips extended. make sure the stick is creating friction with the ground and have other sticks or dry grass around it to catch the sparks. once you get a flame, gently blow or fan it to help it grow.
