∙ 12y agoA computer network - is two or more computers linked together - either by cable or wireless router. A typical example would be in a school. A school network would consist of a file server, and many terminals. The file server holds all the programs the school would use (database, word-processor, spreadsheet etc) and each terminal would communicate with the file server - rather than have individual copies of software on each machine.
