Best Answer

Type your answer As you start to compress the gas you will get an increase in pressure.

As the pressure increases you will hit a point where you will start to condense liquid from the gas. (assuming heat generated is removed)

As the pressure continues to increase the amount of gas present decreases and the amount of liquid increases.

You will eventually reach a point where there is no gas present, only liquidhere...

You use a gasification plant, which is a compressor-chiller combination. The process works because gas heats up when it's compressed, then cools down again when the pressure is released. If you refrigerate compressed gas then release the pressure, it cools down even more...if the temperature cools below the boiling point of the gas, it will condense into a liquid.

Cool the gas and/or pressurize the gas and it will condense.
