Here's how it normally is: 0.0 = F | 1.0 = D | 2.0 = C | 3.0 = B | 4.0 = A

Anything higher than a 3.5 is an A average (because a 3.3, for example, is closer to 3.0 than 4.0 and thus closer to a B). You will have no trouble getting into most colleges with that GPA.

A 3.7 GPA is considered an A- for schools that use +/- with their letter grades.
