Associate of Arts Degree (community college graduate). Alcoholics Anonymous.
Associate degrees fall into three main areas. * Associates of Arts (AA) * Associates of Science (AS) * Associates of Applied Science (AAS)
I don't understand the question. If you are asking if the classes that you took are important, then the answer is yes. For example, if you get an AAS in Automotive Technology, but apply for a job at a tanning salon, I would suggest only listing "AAS" on your resume, not "AAS in Automotive Technology".
AAS is Associates of Applied Sciences. Basically, a two-year vocational degree. 60 hours is what the community colleges here claim to guarantee will transfer over to a four year university. So, if you got an AAS at Pikes Peak Community College, you're supposed to be able transfer to a school such as the University of Colorado and be credited for those 60 hours.
Through a community college that offers a culinary arts program, the degree will most likely be an associates of applied science (AAS).
