In Microsoft Flight Simulator X (FSX), you can call for a bus by using the ATC (Air Traffic Control) menu. Press the "ATC" key (usually the `) to open the ATC window, then navigate to the "Ground" options and select "Request Ground Services." From there, you can request a bus to your aircraft to facilitate passenger boarding or disembarking.
If you do not open the ATC (Air Traffic Control) window in Microsoft Flight Simulator X (FSX), you will miss out on important communication and guidance regarding your flight operations. This includes receiving instructions for taxiing, takeoff, landing, and navigating through controlled airspace. Without ATC, you may not be aware of other aircraft in your vicinity, which can lead to potential conflicts or collisions. Additionally, you will not receive critical flight information, such as weather updates or clearance instructions.
You can have tower view (keys listed in view mode). The tower was useful in GameSpy multi player mode. This is no longer available. If you want ATC functions then consider on line flight communities like steam, ivao or vatsim. These have dedicated ATC clients plus offer training before you are are aloud live interaction
