A paragraph is usually 10 to 18 sentences. 10+ words a sentence. So at least 300 words in three paragraphs.
it really depends on the teacher, but i would say at least 1 to 2 paragraphs. ps. it also depends on what grade you are in.
I think that a journal entry is in the format of an essay, so I would say at least five paragraphs...but actually, i honestly don't think it matters, as long as you get the point across...hope this helps!
