Best Answer

1. The name Loki is very similar to the word logi/loge, wich means flame in some of the Norse languages.

2. In the story of Thor's travels to Utgard, Loki competes against the personification of fire in an eating match and loses.

3. A hearth stone from ca. 1000 CE with a picture of a face with scarred lips and a curled mustache has been found in Denmark. Some people think it's a picture of Loki, who has scarred lips.
