Leaves turning green from top down in the spring is often due to the physiological process of photosynthesis. The upper leaves receive more sunlight and warmth, which stimulate chlorophyll production and green coloration. As the season progresses, lower leaves catch up as they receive more sunlight, resulting in a synchronized greening of the whole tree.
referred to as whorled leaves. This arrangement allows each leaf to receive sufficient sunlight for photosynthesis. Whorled leaves are less common than alternate or opposite leaf arrangements.
Plant leaves are basically photosynthesizing organs and therefore need sunlight. The arrangement of leaves such as opposite and decussate help the plant to receive maximum sun shine hence are better adapted.
The energy leaves the sun as light from the region called the photosphere. This is the visible surface of the sun where most of the sunlight we receive on Earth originates.
The main components that receive stimuli for flowering in plants are the leaves and the shoot apical meristem. Environmental factors such as day length, temperature, and hormones from the leaves, as well as signals from the shoot apical meristem, help trigger the transition from vegetative growth to reproductive growth.
Stolen Party is about the 9-year-old daughter of a maid, Rosaura, who is seemingly friends with Luciana, the daughter of Senora Ines, the lady of the house who is Rosaura's mother's boss. Rosaura was invited to Luciana's birthday party where there was to be a magician with a monkey and other children to play with. Although Rosaura's mom detested the idea of Rosaura going to a "rich people's party", she dressed Rosaura up and off to the party Rosaura went. She enjoyed the party immensely except for a conversation with a contemptuous cousin of Luciana. Throughout the whole party, Rosaura was also asked to serve the guests. After all the party games, the magician came and performed tricks. Rosaura got to be a volunteer for one of his tricks and was very pleased when he thanked her, calling Rosaura a countess. In the end, instead of being given a small trinket like all the other party guests, Senora Ines paid Rosaura, an action which left Rosaura feeling hurt and cold.
