"A 4.0 is a perfect GPA. A 2.75 would be around a 69 average." -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
That is false. A 69 (assuming a non +/- scale) is a D. A grade of D earns you a GPA of 1.0, so a "69 average" or "D Average" would give you a GPA of 1.0 A grade of B will earn you 3.0 GPA points, so if you averaged a 2.75, that would be slightly below a B average.
If you were to break it down into individual percentages (i.e. your cumulative average grade in all of your classes) it would be between an 82 and 83 average.
Using the United States scoring system 2.56 is a C+. * A = Excellent or Superior; or top 10% (90 to 100) = 4.00 * B = Above Average; or second 10% (80-89) = 3.00 * C = Average; or third 10% (70-79) = 2.00 * D = Below average, minimum passing grade (60-69); or fourth 10% = 1.00 * F (Also N or E or U): Failure or Exceptionally Poor; or bottom 60% (0-59) = 0.00 Thus, the scale is A = 4.00, B+ = 3.5, B = 3.0, C+ = 2.5, C = 2.0, D = 1.0, F = 0.0.
2.5-3.3 are all B- to B+ averages, so it means you're doing okay. If you have really high SAT's (2200+), then you'd be able to go to a pretty good school. 3.0 is a magic number due to grade inflation.
It's either 3 Cs and 3 Bs which is 2.5 or 2 Cs, 1 D, and 3 Bs which is 2.333
Roughly a "C" average. It is 2.5 out if 4.0.
All that really means is you are at an average of a B with 1 or 2 C - C+'s. just work harder you kid dog brother pig
Type your answer here... its a B
2.70
In terms of letter grades, a 3. 48 grade point average falls between an A and a B. A 3. 5 GPA is a definite A.
It would be a letter grade of B+.
above a B average but below an A average
It is a B...
this means that your grades all a's and u have a awesome grade point average (gpa)
D
B-
well in simple terms the grades and credits transfer but don't get calculated into the GPA in the New School
When figured on a 4.0 GPA grading scale a 3.686 means that you have mastered all courses you have taken with at least a low A average. This is considered to be a very successful grade rating.
A 2.72 GPA means that that person made mostly C's. Maybe a couple of B's and A's but the majority of their grades were C's.
If the possible exception to your low GPA is your math and chemistry grades, maybe yeah - you can. If your low GPA grades are represented by your math and chemistry grades - no chance.
Yes you can
