i have a 96 Town car and the high/low beam switch is on turn signal. push signal switch forward for high, back for low.
Well the 96 sedan deville has a 4.6liter pushing out 300hp while the Lincoln town car has the same liters but only 260hp. deville goes around 7 mph more
On a 1996 Lincoln Town Car : The ELECTRIC fuel pump is INSIDE the fuel tank ( the fuel tank is a vertical tank , behind the passenger rear seat , and the fuel pump is mounted in the side facing towards the rear seat )
valve stem seals on my 95 and 96 town cars were bad, also had oil pan gasket and rear main seal leakage.
On the dashboard below the radio, to the right of the rear defroster switch. Right where it says "Max AC" etc.
You can go to a local Auto Zone or Advanced store, they will check the codes for free and reset them
Check to make sure one if the bulbs is not burnt out. Most cars will speed up the turn signal blink rate when a bulb is out.
Personal choice I like the Lincoln for the feeling of luxury I like the Cadillac for the dependability My opinion, for late models: New moden/high-tech, luxury, fashion, faster ->Deville Rear wheel drive->Town Car More budget/will change car soon -> Deville Drive your friends to Airport and earn extra ->Town Car Don't wannt look old ->Deville Good Value buy->Town Car I Owned 94 Deville and 96 Towncar
