My husband for starters. Many times while trying to catch fish, a turtle will get on the line. I don't eat turtles, but I know several people who do and they say a turtle tastes like 7 different types of other meats. Also some types of carnivorous fish will eat a turtle if given the chance.

∙ 9y agoYellow mud turtles have few predators as adults. As eggs and young they are preyed on by skunks, raccoons, other turtles, water snakes, and large predatory fish. When they are threatened they release a strong smell from their bodies which may repel predators.

∙ 14y agoI'v never come across a mud turtle, but i would say they would probably eat what most turtles eat.Worms, mealworms,crickets, small fish aquatic plants, algea,comercial diets.
