Bears are interpreted variously as strength, danger, protection, introspection and the wonders of nature. A cub is a smaller, more manageable, and more innocent version of a wild animal. They are not however as harmless as they may seem.

A cub, in dreams may, like a cub found in nature be a source of hidden danger... "Momma" is usually close by and not often friendly.

In tassology a cub is a small problem, with the potential to grow. Unless it is specifically a "teddy-bear" where it implies "youth" or "innocence".
