The oxygen sensor is located in the exhaust manifold before the catalytic convertor. If you look down between the radiator and the exhaust manifold a few inches before the exhaust pipe connects to the exhaust manifold you will see the Oxygen sensor. The sensor will have 2 wires coming from it and it kinda looks like a sparkplug stuck into the exhaust manifold. There is 2 nuts that hold the oxygen sensor into the exhaust manifold.
it is on the exhaust manifold just before the y pipe on the and the manifold meet can't miss it has 2 wires coming out of it and kind of looks like a spark plug on the end
have you checked to see if there is any broken bolt on the manifold, or worped manifold, burnt manifold gasket
If itys a 1.8 four cylinder...its on the exhaust manifold, just prior to the downpipe. It looks like a spark plug screwed into the exhaust manifold with black wiring to it.
Should be the first component that looks like a small muffler after the exhaust manifold
It's in the exhaust line. After the exhaust manifold and before the muffler. In fact, it looks like a muffler on some cars.
On the exhaust pipe between the exhaust manifold and the catilitic converter. Looks kind of like a spark plug screwed into the pipe.
Usually on all vehicles the oxygen sensors are on the exhaust manifold and catalytic converter. On Caravans this is definitely true. The upstream O2 sensor is on the exhaust manifold which is in the front, and the downstream O2 sensor is on the Catalytic Converter which attaches to the exhaust manifold, looks like a small oddly shaped muffler in the middle of the underside of the engine compartment leading to the exhaust system.
The Oxygen sensor that typically on MOST vehicles is the one closest to the heat of the exhaust. Since the SL2 is a 4 cylinder engine with a single exhaust manifold, check (or replace) the FRONT oxygen sensor, which is in the exhaust manifold, just above the "headpipe". It looks a little like a sparkplug, and should be the only thing in the exhaust manifold that has a wire connected.

Two, A V-8 means that in theory looking at it from the front, it looks like a V. Each side has a bank of 4 cylinders, Each bank has an exhaust manifold equaling one on each side.
its located on exhaust manifold looks like a spark plug with awire on it.
