It doesn't make a sound.

- Actually it produces a very low pitched hum (most likely due to the very long neck and large chest) that humans can't hear. Like with bat noises you can frequency shift the giraffe noises to listen to them.

When giraffes feel strong negative emotions such as sadness, they excrete a musk -scented sweat- that lets other giraffes know how they feel, so that they might get some company. Then the other giraffes of the pack huddle together to comfort the sad giraffe.
