Stop and poceed when safe
you treat it as if it was a stop sign
they are usually at dangerous intersections
^ For flashing reds. They can also occur if a set of lights goes out (during a power outage, surge, etc).
It means STOP. It is similar to a Stop sign.
Basically, you treat the intersection as if it's a stop sign posted there. You come to a complete stop, ensure that it is safe to proceed, then proceed once it is safe to do so.
They're an additional feature to focus your attention towards the traffic light. The human eye is quicker to catch a flashing light than a steady light.
Yellow, then red is the patterns of the traffic lights.
Group of words or pictures or something that give information about anything is termed as message. e.x:If we make travel by bike or any type of vehicles we will face traffic lights. If the red light will on at that time your mind said stop the bike.so in this case red light is the message, that have a information like stop vehicle or ready for go or go.That's message.
red means you will be shot instanty by fema after marshal law has been passed and blue means you will be taken to a fema camp/.
Whatever it means can't be good.
The red flashing traffic light means that you are to come to a stop, yield to other traffic and then you can procede when the way is clear.
A red light - steady or flashing - means STOP. A steady amber light means Caution - signal about to change. A flashing amber light means SLOW DOWN.
Traffic approaching the light is to stop. If the way is clear, traffic can then proceed through the intersection.
Red=stop red flashing= light is broken, use your judgement in crossing.
stop and proceed when clear, with caution (of course)
a red traffic light means stop and a red blinking flashing light means its a stop sign
A flashing red traffic light is used the same way as a stop sign. You treat a flashing red traffic light the same way you do as a stop sign. If the traffic light is "blacked-out", it's to be treated as an all-way stop. What I do when I come up to a flashing red traffic light, I look at the cross-traffic signals to see if they're also flashing red, or if they're flashing yellow to see if they stop or if they don't stop.
means nothing Wrong! It means caution. Something requires extra attention. At an intersection, a flashing circular yellow means to take extra caution, and watch for traffic on the cross road (which has a flashing red light). A flashing red light is the same as a stop sign. A flashing yellow arrow means you ma turn in the direction of the arrow, but you must yield to conflicting traffic. If the flashing yellow light is not at an intersection, it either calls attention to a road hazard on an accompanying sign, or indicates that a special regulation indicated on the sign is in effect (School speed limit 20 when flashing).
Yes. Basic rule of driving: You must stop at a red light. Yes, that means a flashing red light as well!
Flashing red lights may be permanent or temporary (e.g. when the programmed sequence fails).A flashing red light means STOP, then proceed when safe.If it is a 4-way flashing red, cross traffic will also stop, and the intersection becomes identical to one with stop signs. This is a safety feature in some programmed signals. If only one direction has the flashing red (such as a road that intersects a busy highway), the traffic entering the highway must stop, and never has the right-of-way.* Some international traffic signals use a flashing red in place of steady red, to attract the attention of drivers where there is a profusion of commercial lights.
Flashing amber light means slow down, watch for potential dangers. Flashing red means stop; proceed if and when it is safe.
You should not be driving if unable to distinguish yellow from red. If uncertain- treat as red.
