the symbolism of a rose tattoo depends on the colour. A red rose represents life and a blue rose represents spirit. tattoo energy has excelent explenations of tattoo symbolism or its allways a good idea to ask your tattoo artist before reciving ANY design as you may not want to be asociated with the meanings of some images. Answer

Personally, I own a tattoo with a rose.

My meaning for it may sound shallow, as it's linked to my past relationships.

I am a rose.

Beautiful, red, blooming; yet it dies quickly.

Like how men are attracted to me at the start, but then they start to realise the petals are shedding off. The thorns and prickles, they are in their flesh.

They leave me.

It also symbolizes how short-lived love can be, how superficial it can be sometimes.

And also how fragile it is; though strong, protected by thorns and prickles, love can fail. yh7u089j89jip9
