Cervical means pertaining to the NECK.
So it can refer to two unrelated parts of the body:
- the neck region (e.g. cervical vertebrae)
- the cervix or neck of the uterus (e.g. Cervical cancer)
Neck...as in cervical rib, meaning an extra rib arising from the neck. It may also refer to the narrow part of the uterus (its "neck"), as in cervical mucus, cervical cancer, etc.
c-spine means cervical spine, and cervical means neck.

Cervical dysplasia means that there are abnormal cell in the cervix. They are not cancer but show signs of becoming cancerous.
A normal pap is a good thing! It means there are no abnormal cervical cells, which is what they look for when screening for Cervical cancer.
"Cervical" has to do with the end of the uterus. "Exposure," in STDs, means having contact with some germ. So "cervical exposure" would mean contact at the cervix with some germ.
