check gsuges light comes on when there is a problem with one of your systems,ie,low coolant, battery not charging, fuel cap not on tight.take it to your local auto parts store and they can pu in on a computer(no charge usually)to tell you what the problem is
Means you are over heating.
It means that one gauge is not in the safe zone. Check the engine temp, oil pressure, battery/alternator voltage,It means that one gauge is not in the safe zone. Check the engine temp, oil pressure, battery/alternator voltage,
It means at least one of the gauges is out of its normal range. The "check gauge light" is notifing you to take notice with either the engine temp gauge, the battery gauge or the engine oil pressure gauge.
as a noun: Will you please check the amount of rain on our rain gauge? as a verb: I could not gauge his understanding by the look on his face. (as a verb, gauge means to evaluate, estimate, judge, or measure)
It means that one or more of the gauges is out of the safe zone.
It means the vehicle will not pass an emission test.
The fuel gauge is a very simple affair. The gauge itself, a 3 terminal voltage regulator and the in tank level sensor. Check fuses first, check for a good ground to the fuel gauge sensor on the tank. Pull the wire on the tank sensor, ground the wire, with key on gauge should deflect. No gauge movement means bad gauge or regulator. Reconnect wire. Check for 12V at the input of the voltage regulator, check for around 5V at the gauge side of the VR. If no suspect bad VR. If yes suspect bad gauge. If gauge does deflect when grounding tank sensor wire the intank sensor is bad and must be replaced.
You should check the guage.. It means that one of the gauges is out of the safe range.
What year is your car? Did you mean the CHECK ENGINE light? The battery gauge?
Your fuel is low. Its telling you to check your gas gauge...
It means look at your gauges. Something is wrong! Does your temperature gauge show that it is overheating? Is the oil presure where it should be? Check your fluids.
Check gauge? Never heard of a check gauge light. If you are referring to the check engine light it is on because there is a problem with the emissions system. You need to have the ECU scanned by a professional.
