This simply means without error. Most would hold that it applies to The Bible in terms of the original manuscripts and also that, even though we have copies of copies and translations, they are also essentially inerrant. The discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls highlighted how little change occurred in relation to the ancient Old Testament scriptures. The vast number of early New Testament manuscripts from different parts of the Christian world, also serve as a corrective to each other and also demonstrate an amazingly high degree of agreement.
