He probably means what he said 'I'll talk with you soon' meaning he'll bump into you again or phone or text you. However, some people say this because they are in hurry and just simply blurt it out and don't call. This is a risk you are unfortunately going to have to run with.

∙ 14y agoIt means he either wants to talk to you soon, or wants to leave without making it seem so. If he doesn't contact you first, call him or put yourself in his path. If he blows you off, then he was just trying to get away from you without being rude.
