You probably have a cracked engine block and engine coolant is mixing with engine oil.
on a1995 ford windstar was running fine until power steering fluid leaked and foam up on to the engine
the "milkshake" foam under your cap is likely to be condensation from the cold weather and your "short trips". the way the fill neck is located so high the cold air turns the hot air in the fill neck to condensation. drive the truck longer to reach a higher running temp.
Believe it or not it is located under the distributor cap. If you look at the cap there is a post running alonside it to the center of the cap where the coil wire usually goes.
Excessive blow-by (a tired engine) and/or the PCV system is not functioning correctly. Also, check the condition of the gasket under the oil fill cap.
Yes it can, as long as the engine is running. Be careful when taking the radiator cap off thou, cause its under pressure.
Foam in the oil pour spout, on the inside of the cap, or on the dipstick or dipstick tube is an indication that moisture has entered into the oil. This could be nothing more then condensation from short driving trips, or as serious as a blowed head gasket or cracked head/block. Drain your oil and take a good look at it. does it appear to be foamy? Brownish in color? If in doubt, have a qualified mechanic look at it. It could be serious.
try running with fuel cap open. If it keeps running, breather in fuel cap blocked, strip fuel cap and clean.
Water in the oil! lack of power and foam on the dip stick or white smoke: Head gasket? No loss of power lots of foam, gets hot rainbow on the water surface: crack in the engine or head? ouch!
under the rear fender on the left side. You must first remove seat so that you can access the cap for the oil tank.Do not remove foam baffle from oil tank.
I was taught that removing the oil cap while the engine is running was a bad idea. But I would suggest you call the service manager at the dealership for your car and ask them.
brake fluid cap? oh you mean the master cylinder ha that is on the driver side under the hood closest to the windshield
It is the sensor in the distributor under the cap and rotor. It is the sensor in the distributor under the cap and rotor.
