Actually, when I pet my guinea pig on her head in a bacwards stroke, she kind of jerks her head in an upwards motion. I guess she either sees the darkness and wants you to move it, she thinks she is hiding and she thinks she is making the whole bigger, or she has a feel good sensation in her nerves and has a simple good feeling in her nerves.
I think this means that she or he is agitated about something, and it is saying to "LEAVE ME ALONE"
When your guinea pig tilts its head to one side it might have a eye or ear infection.
Purrs are often made when you are stroking them or having them on your lap. My guinea pig does it all the time when I am stroking or rubbing her. However, do not get this confused with the "mate call". My guinea pig purrs because I will stroke his fur backwards (on purpose to make him purr) so it is like a chill to them.
Human Head Lice and Guinea Pig lice are two different types. Humans aren't affected by Guinea Pig Lice and Guinea Pigs are the same for Human Head Lice. You are perfectly safe to hold you guinea pig :)

that she loves uDefinetly love and it means she is in a good mood too. My two adult cats (one mzle and one female) do the same thing. The female of mine, however, rubs on boxes, corners or anything with an edge to show a good mood, while the male rubs on people to get them to love him by scratching and/or petting his head.
Figure it out, does he normally do one or the Other, if it changes suddenly he might like u;) <3 have fun and dont go too fast
When petting a guinea pig you should sit it on your lap facing you so it cant run off. Guinea pigs HATE being stroked on their bottoms. But they LOVE being stroked on their heads..... Some guinea pigs LOVE being stroked under their chin or the underneath of them.... your question didnt really make sense
Suddenly the boy whacked me on the head.
what is asynchronous jerking of legs and head at sleep onset

A guinea pig bowing her head or what looks like she is grooming or trying to nudge her way under the other one's head is a sign of submission and truce. This means that the guinea pig who is grooming is lower on the hierarchy than the other.
If you suddenly get up, the blood drains from your head and you will feel dizzy (happens to me). The best thing to do is gradually get up instead of suddenly, then the circulation has more time to adjust to the change.
