Dreams are affected by the condition of the body, particularly changes in hormone levels. So if you dreamed of being pregnant, then discovered that you are pregnant in real life, it simply means that your subconscious mind was affected by the changing hormones of your pregnancy, and placed that awareness in your dreams. There is nothing magical or supernatural about the dream.

∙ 11y agoIf you are sexually active and of the appropriate age, a pregnancy test might be wise, since dreams do respond to hormonal changes. Otherwise, the dream pregnancy probably is a metaphor representing something important "developing" in your life. Your friend's dream is more likely to be about her own life, with "you" appearing as a symbol for some part of herself. Of course, you both might be working on the development of the same project.
