Marriage signifies commitment, harmony or transitions. You are

undergoing an important developmental phase in your life. The dream

may also represent the unification of formerly separate or opposite

aspects of yourself. In particular, it is the union of masculine or

feminine aspects of yourself. Consider the qualities and

characteristics of the person that you are marrying. These are the

qualities that you need to look at in incorporating within

yourself.

Love is coming your way

Dreams present symbols and metaphors rather than showing literal

events. So in dreams, "marriage" can represent any type of public

commitment, from signing a contract to hiring a new employee to

enlisting in the military. Alternatively, the dream could be

wish-fulfillment, allowing the dreamer to experience something

wonderful yet rather threatening while in the security of

sleep.

It depends if your dream was a happy or scary one. if it was

happy, then you may be wanting to settle down and if it was a scary

one, it may be suggesting a fear of commitment.

This most likely is a wish-fulfillment dream, allowing the

dreamer to experience something desired while in the security of

sleep. Alternatively, if the dream is frightening, it expresses

one's fear of settling down or reluctance to leave behind youthful

freedom.

In dreams, marriage is a metaphor representing a public

commitment. For example, if you are planning on signing an

important legal contract, you might dream about marriage, which is

a similar legal commitment. Other examples might be committing

oneself by taking out a student loan, joining the military or

hiring an employee. Any publicly announcement of a long-term

promise or commitment might be represented in dreams by

marriage.
