What is the spiritual meaning of seeing a spider?

To see a spider in your dream indicates you are feeling like an outsider in some situation. Or perhaps you want to keep your distance and stay away from an alluring and tempting situation. The spider is also symbolic of feminine power or an overbearing mother figure in your life.

Alternatively, a spider refers to a powerful force protecting you against your self-destructive behavior. If you kill a spider in your dream, then it symbolizes misfortune and bad luck.

Dreams are a function of the subconscious.

Symbols have different meanings to different social groups. It therefore depends on the group to which you belong what those symbols mean.

For someone that has no knowledge of the group to which a person belongs and to claim to be able to interpret those symbols is nonsense.

Dreams mostly mean nothing and are a function of the subconscious mind. We know little of the conscious mind. Those people that claim to be able to interpret the subconscious are charlatans, playing upon the insecurities of people in need real support. Either for financial gain or kudos.

It means you better start praying.

We all face death, but we don't have to spend eternety in Hell. We are all doomed to die. But we don't have to die the second death if we turn to Christ. Below are some bible verses that make my point. When we boht think about and fear death, something has to be done.

John 6:44

"No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him ..." (NIV)

Romans 3:10-12

"...There is no one righteous, not even one; there is no one who understands, no one who seeks God. All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one." (NIV)

Romans 3:23

"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."(NIV)

1) Admit

Acts 3:19 says: "Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord." (NIV) Repent literally means "a change of mind that results in a change of action." To repent, then, means to admit you are a sinner. You change your mind to agree with God that you are a sinner. The resulting "change in action" is, of course, the turning away from sin.

2) Believe

John 3:16 says: "For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life." (NLT) Believing in Jesus is also a part of repenting. You change your mind from unbelief to belief, which results in a change of action.

3) Come to him

In John 14:6 Jesus said: "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me." (NLT) Faith in Jesus Christ is a change of mind that results in a change of action-coming to him.

Romans 10:9-10 says, "If you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved." (NIV)
