Unfortunately this is not always straightforward and depends alot on your current relationship with that person.
If you know the person in question, it is quite likely that you have strong feelings for them. These aren't necessarily sexual and/or romantic feelings, as the mind can identify kissing as being symbolic of love in any case. Its best not to worry about it, but instead enjoy the sensation and accept your feelings towards the person in your dream.
If you do not know the person in question, say they are an actor or other public figure, it is most likely that you are under feelings of heartbreak or other emotional stress. When we feel upset or downtrodden love can feel like the escape and the subconscious can drag this into our dreams.
Both of these answers can apply, look at your own life to see which is more relevant.
Finally, the worst part about dreams is that they always end before the best bits anyway. :)
