Usually, but not always, the bird dies and the plane is damaged.
If they fly into the engine the bird will of course die and the engine will spontaneously combust along with the wing probably causing a weight shift to the opposite side and of course an explosion that will offset the planes course of flight and will end in a fabulous display of fireworks.
When a bird flies into your garage it could means one of three things,
1) the bird is cold and wants heat from your garage and is clever enough to no that the garage is warm and in this case, you should let it in.
2) the bird is being bullied and is being chased by other bully birds and again in this case, you should let it in, this time with sympathy because nobody wants a cute bird to be bullied.
3) the bird is just confused and doesn't know where it is and you should have even more sympathy for it and should try and guide it out.
Oh, the most important thing that it means is your garage door is open!
If you didn't crash it means you're lucky!
Because they can't tell that the windows are there as they're clear.
Birds have no concept of what a window is, so they tend to fly into them a lot being as they can't recognize them.
Death is looming for a family member.
It doesn't mean anything.
The bird had to relieve itself right as it was near or on your car. I don't think it means much more than that :) .
Birds are stupid.

Not in today's world.
It could mean that the bird sees its reflection in the window and thinks that it is seeing another bird, or it could mean that, at some time, someone put out bird seed onto your window sill.
it is seeing itself and thinks it is another bird it poops allover your car while it is doing this.

the bird is sitting on the tree
It means that was a tough and lucky bird. Other than that it means nothing whatsoever.

Yes, it is bad for a bird to hit your window. If it is going at a fast enough rate of speed, it could break its neck, which would kill it. Alternatively, if you are living in a skyscraper and the bird hits your window, it could knock it out and then it would fall to its death. But many times it just shakes its head and flies off. It would depend upon the bird and the window. But no, it's not a good thing when a bird and window intersect.

Not so. We see birds sitting on active high lines all the time.
It might have just been a stupid bird or it might have short sight or it might have seen its reflection and thought it was another bird it all depends on what type of bird it was.
