∙ 11y agoThis dream illustrates the dreamer's feeling of being attacked. The "someone" could be an individual such as a co-worker or supervisor, and the "shooting" might symbolize that person "shooting off his mouth." But it could just as well represent an anonymous bureaucracy or a corporation that feels hostile and aggressive.
Another note: The shooter does not necessarily represent a person. You feel threatened in your waking moments (subconsciously?) by whatever the shooter represents. Being shot down. This is fairly easy to analyze. Think of whatever it is in your life that you feel possibly being threatened by, a boss, a so-called freind, a car accident? Your dreams are there to tell you about you. YOur subconscious coming out.

You might feel that someone "shot you down" in the sense of criticising you in front of others. Similarly, you may feel as if you are the "target" of criticism, or that remarks were "aimed" at you. Any of these common expressions could trigger a dream about shooting.
