At least for me, sometimes you can, but it is rare. You usually need to run in a special situation that usually has a negative connotation. Often times your mind thinks it necessary for you to feel desperation at not being able to run, or fear at being caught. After awhile you learn to overcome this by putting yourself in someone else's body.
