What does it mean when you found blood in your girl hamsters bedding?

She might have an infection and need to see a vet. I have a hamster who did that, then did it again two weeks later, we did not take her to the vet, and she is still fine. We have not seen her bleed again. It might be an infection, or she might be longing for a mate.
