I'm not sure if you are asking a question or looking for the reference to that verse. The reference is Matthew 16:26. The point is that many people seek riches and money and fame, to the extent of ignoring their relationship with God. If the whole world knows them and they are very very rich, what would that matter if they had to spend eternity in hell.
He gains an eternity in hell.. Which is more of a loss than anything else in this world.
Jesus' words are recorded at: Matthew 16:26, Mark 8:36, Luke 9:25
John 17:15,16 .
I believe the New World Translation was written by the Jehovah's Witnesses which happens to be a cult. They have taken scripture out of the original bible and added scripture as well. They have also rewritten some parts to fit their theology. Steer clear of this translation.
Romans 1:20
The Bible is where the written teachings of Jesus are kept.
There are many disciples or imitators of Jesus that were never mentioned in the Scripture or in today's world.
The bible has changed the whole world, for the better, and it has never been such an impact on man as one book.
1 Corinthians 13:4-8.
John 3:16, for god so love the world that he sent his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth on him shall not perish but have everlasting life.
The Whole Bible... But if you ask most they will say John 3:16"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. "
The Bible says in Gen 1 that it was Eve.
Of course its the Bible. Trust me.
Members of the world's second-largest religion consider it Holy Scripture (just like the Christians consider the Bible to be Holy Scripture); therefore, every believer wants to read it, at least occasionally.
