You'll need to look up the websites of legit modeling agencies in your city/state and see what their requirements are. From there you'll need to put together non professional, digital snapshots of your face and full body. If the agencies have open castings where you can go in and be evaluated by the staff, go to as many of those as you can since it brings you face to fact with the agency. Once you are signed, your agency will train you and set up your test shoot for your portfolio.

You can search online for modeling agencies with child modeling divisions and check their websites, which will state the specific requirements and information needed to submit your child for consideration. In general, potential child models should be attractive, have a great smile, look healthy, have an outgoing, friendly attitude and take direction well. It also helps if your child's look is marketable.

∙ 12y agoI'm not a model, yet! I have an interview :-) What I learned is modeling is about advertising the product, whether it is clothes, perfume, or food. You have to convince the buyer it is the best. Also, modeling agents look for clean hair, no neon colors, no split ends. Clean nails, not long, french tips, clear coat, or nude color. Also, for photo's, make sure no clothes have any sort of logo's.
For photo's, make sure a side of your hip is to the camera, and that your soulders are straight in front of the camera, it looks more professional.
For walking down a runway, act like your walking on a tightrope :-) one foot in front of the other :D

At what age should I introduce a child to model planes?
