It actually means "Dinner" or "Come to Dinner" or in a sentence reffering to a feast of some sought.

It is the way you say respectfully or to someone of higher rank especially to a Samoan Chief.

This form of language is different from regular informal Samoan you speak to the steel cape kickers from the Boat. This is what we call Faa' alo'alo meaning respect,courtesy,polite in good manner.

This way or manner of speaking is also called Faa'aga'nuu.
