when matter goes through a physical change, that state of the matter changes. so if i took liquid water and froze it into ice... that would be a physical change because it is still the same compound in a different form
in a physical change, matter does NOT change its idenity, on shape, size, ect. that include being a maleabilty
The composition of the substance doesn't change only the state does.
size, state, identify, and texture
Size or identity one of those! ;)

changes in states of matter are physical changes, as they do not affect the chemical properties of the substance
A chaqnge of the state of matter is allways a physical change.
During a physical change, the matter of what the substance is made out of doesn't change.
It is a physical change.
Physical. Melting is always a physical change.
Energy is ALWAYS invoved.
matter
The particles that make up matter are unchanged during physical, or chemical changes. Matter can neither be created nor destroyed, only transformed.
No. Rather released. As during the physical changes in the states of matter, there is breaking of bonds involved. Whenever bonds are broken, the atoms of that matter come closer and energy they give out is more as compared to energy taken while breaking bonds. Hence, Physical changes at the level of states of Matter are always Exothermic i.e. RELEASING HEAT.

Freezing (melting, boiling, condensing) are always phycal changes (of matter)
the changes that matter undergoes are the physical and chemical change by:R.yu
a physical is a change to a substance
During a physical change, the matter of what the substance is made out of doesn't change.
no physical change does not change matter
no physical change does not change matter
