In The Bible, The Book of Proverbs Chapter 3:24 When you lie down, you shall not be afraid: yea, you shall lie down, and your sleep shall be sweet. (The safety, security, and well being that one craves can only be derived by going God's Way. His Way is His Word.)

In The Bible, The Book of Psalms Chapter 127 verse 2 It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat bread of sorrows: for so He gives His beloved sleep. (The argument of this Verse is that God gives to His loved ones, while asleep, treasures that men toil for early and late in vain.)

That is why Yahveh commanded us to have a weekly Feast called the Sabbath (Saturday). The basic gist of shabbat is to rest and have peace (shalom). The first thing about the sabbath is to physically REST (sleep) until you can't sleep anymore. Without proper sleep one is NEVER on their toes, so to speak. That is why most Messianic type sabbath keepers are generally speaking much wiser and more productive than the general population. The sabbath is a blessed day that no other day compares to.

For more details please feel free to check out the articles in that regard on my site at yahswatchman.webs.com especially in regards to the sabbath.
