The AC Belt connects to the crankshaft pully outer pully the one in front of the crankshaft belt
Disconnect the battery. Loosen the ac bracket bolts. Slide the compressor to allow the belt to come off (if there are other belts in the way then they will have to be removed first.) Replace the belt. Slide the compressor snug but not too tight then tighten the bolts and re-connect the battery.
The ac belt has a tensioner that is accessed from below, and takes a tensioner tool to loosen. Remove the serpentine belt, release tension on the ac belt then the belt can come off for replacement.
The AC is a "system", not a single component, and as such, there are parts of the AC system in several areas of the vehicle. The AC compressor is on the engine and receives it's power from the serpentine belt. The AC clutch is on the compressor, enabling the compressor to be disengaged from the serpentine belt when the compressor is not needed. The AC evaporator is a coil that 's inside the heater box, under the dashboard. The AC condenser is in front of the engine radiator. The AC receiver/dryer is under the hood, attached to the firewall. And the AC refrigerant hoses connect everything together.
The ac belt will need to have the tensioner to take the belt off. The serpentine belt is in front of the compressor belt and will have to be removed first.
Belt about 20 bucks unless AC run by a "serpentine belt" (all one belt runs everything) then belt cost $ 80. and labor for serpentine $ 75. labor for just AC non serpentine belt $ 30
what happan AC 24 V CONNECT EARTH ?
????? The belt only drives the AC so all you have is the tensioner, AC and main pully!
ac belt replacement kia spectra 2005
You have to remove the ac belt first then the v belt. Once you get them off you need to replace the v belt and ensure it is tight enough. then the ac belt.
Only if the ac compressor is the only thing on that belt.
will chrysler lhs not run wen ac belt is broken
An AC belt hooks up to an 1987 Nova by wrapping around the AC compressor. It is then reattached to the compressor by tightening the bolts back down to the belt.
