CP most commonly stands for cerebral palsy in medical terms.
Cerebral Palsy
CP usually refers to a condition formally called cerebral palsy. It is related to nerve conduction from the brain to various parts of the body. Muscles and development are effected. In some cases multiple handicaps are present including learning disabilities. CP is thought to be related to difficulties during birth. My answer is from a teacher's point of view and not physician's.
