Best Answer

how many possible outcomes ( same thing as a tree diagram, the possibilities) just of a event. Such as if there are 3 soccer balls, one is blue, one is green, and one is red, there are three goals what would be the possible amount of outcomes?

Blue 1st goal

2nd goal

3rd goal

Green 1st goal

2nd goal

3rd goal

Red 1st goal

2nd goal

3rd goal

the answer is 9 possibilities. I got that answer by taking the 3 soccer balls times the 3 goals. 3X3=9
