The UCSB mascot, "Gaucho," represents the spirit of the Argentine cowboy, symbolizing resilience, independence, and a strong connection to the land. This choice reflects the university's location in California and its diverse cultural heritage. The Gaucho embodies the values of determination and community that are central to UCSB's identity. Additionally, the mascot fosters school pride and unity among students and alumni.

I go to that school and my mascot is an eagle
Not a lot of people know this, but Eddy Eagle is meant to abstractly represent forced sodomy.
pride, strength, intelligence, freedom
Yes there is.
The dorms in UCSB are pretty nice. I love in the oldest dorm of UCSB, and it is still clean and it looks sturdy, too. Manzanita are the nicest dorms since they are relatively new. They are very spacious and not too far from campus.
