oh from where did u got that word ,, it's not familiar these days, old people use it :)

but anyways I'll try to answer the question

you know when u take the stairs lets say 10 stairs one after one, then u come to a square or area with no stairs ,,, u walk two or three steps and back to the stairs again :) , this is the MASTABE.

or Mastabe ,, is related to any area that is smooth and flat ( around the house )
