You should have a "c" at least. A "D" will pass you, but you may have problems in 8th because you didn't pick up the skills you need to do the work. I suggest this next year you really apply yourself. My bet is that you played around this year and are now worried about passing or you wouldn't be asking this questions. Do this in high school and you will be repeating classes to graduate. Each class is a number of units and you need a total number to graduate in 4 years. I know 5th year seniors who didn't complete classes.
You can pass the 8th grade with a D average, but I would hope that you would think higher than that. If you think "D" all this year you will end up with "F" and in the 8th next year. The higher you aim the better you will be.
As of the 2011/2012 school year, the average GPA was a 2.5-3.0. Aim for a 4.0 to be above the average! Always ask for extra work to!
it has to be at least 2.0 to pass the 8th grade.
Well the infinite campus portal shows the required GPA for 7th grade to be 2.0 but I think it depends on your school district or rules.
The average GPA of a 7th grader is about 3.3. This represents a student with As and Bs in school.
Your GPA have to be at least 2.0 in order the pass the 8th grade.
