Probably. If South America does let you breed a Maned Wolf with your Golden Retriever and the percentage is 60% or higher (in this case it's 80%) then you need to have a licensed permit from the Florida Converation Wildlife Bureau. This is the state law!

nah uh. dyed? no... It is possible that Fluke was mixed, possibly part Lab. I however think he was a Flat-Coated Retriever. If you look them up, you'd see they look almost exactly like Golden Retrievers with a long wavy coat but they come in darker, different colors such as liver and black. Golden Retrievers have thicker and wavier coats whereas Flat-Coated Retrievers, like the name implies, have flatter and thinner coats.
