Are poodles good with cats

I have two poodles and one cat and they are the best of friends. Poodles are very loyal and mischievous characters and they require a lot of attention. They also have the added benefit of being hypoallergenic. Poodles seem to accept most animals but as the previous posted said they do require time and special training.

Poodles who grow up with other dogs or any pets together have the chance to enjoy their company otherwise they may need some time and special training to help him accept a newcomer.

Any dog can be good with cats if it is raised with them from a puppy, that is why it is important to socialize a puppy to all kinds of people, animals, and different situations when it is young to avoid behavioral problems when older. It is possible to teach a dog to get along with cats, it just might take a lot of consistent training.

All pugs, just as any other breed, each have their own unique personality. While some get along great with other dogs, some don't. Some don't want to share the attention they receive from their owners, while others love having a companion.

I have had pugs for over 15 years and the two I have now are no exception. One of them wants nothing to do with other dogs (except for her sister, which is my other pug), while the other pug loves being around other dogs. So it all depends on each dog's individual personality.

Yeah, mostly. Unless there's a really unfriendly pug. Always ask someone if their dog is friendly first. But generally pugs are very nice and get along perfectly!
