What drugs will show up on a test for amphetamines?

None, because only amphetamines produce the metabolites the test is looking for.

If the test came up inconclusive about a drug, the specimen gets tested AGAIN to determine exactly what was causing the reaction.

I've personally had a slight positive (very light, counted as passing) after drinking 2 rockstar energy drinks. However, if the screen is going to an actual lab for comprehensive testing, that would not show up. I've heard of mini-thins or pseudoephedrine/ephedrine-containing products causing positive drug screens for amphetamines, but I have no specific cases in my experience that prove that this was not used as an excuse for the failed screen.
