Epinephrine raises the levels of some body functions, including the possibility of blood pressure. Epinephrine can be a real life saver, particularly if the patient is having a severe allergic reaction. If the blood pressure does rise the physician can treat the high blood pressure. If the patient is treated for an allergic reaction he or she may notice his or her heart races or they are shaky or real tired and perhaps very hyped up.
