KCl is a compound. It consists of K (Potassium) and Cl (Chlorine) atoms. K is on the 4th period 1A group on the periodic table and Cl is 3rd period 7A group on the Periodic Table

NO. An element is made of only 1 type of atom. For a list of all the elements, go look at a 'periodic table'. Also it is likely that you are wanting to know about KCl not KCI. This stands for potassium (K) chloride (Cl).

KCl (with a lowercase L) is something. It is a compound, not an element.

There are 3 elements in KCI because they are 3 seperate elements because they are all capital letters so K is Potassium, C is Carbon and I is Iodine. Hope this answer helped you
