Energy comes in many different forms, but not usually in a form that you can say that it sinks or floats.
There are many different types of energy; the details of energy conversion are different, from case to case.
Energy exists in many different forms. These include kinetic energy, heat, sound, light and other forms of electromagnetism, nuclear energy, chemical potential energy, gravitational potential energy, etc.
The atomic model has been refined from "the plum pudding" model,to a nucleus with orbiting electrons,to an awareness of many different sub atomic particles in the nucleus and electrons that are in energy levels,to electrons in sub energy levels and in distinct orbitals with different associated energy and behaviour
Energy conversion is not really efficient because of many factors. If we take an example of how energy are lost during conversion in our power plant. Today the efficiency rate for our coal powered plant are only 20-40%, which is an absolute waste. All those 60 or more % of energy lost is because they are converted from one form to another form many times before result is seen. Energy can be lost in forms of heat, sound mainly.
There are many different kinds of waves, and many different kinds of wave energy, and many different kinds of equipment used to produce such energy. For example, a lightbulb, since light is a form of electromagnetic wave.

Chemical energy can be "used" (ie changed from one form to another) through a chemical reaction. Energy may be released in many forms, including heat.
Eubacteria are many and diverse. Some of them can photosynthesise, others take in food from the outside. In a physical sense nothing can 'make' energy, it can only be changed in form.

Electric Energy can be converted into many different forms of energy. The most common type of energy electricity is converted into is light energy - as with a light bulb. Another form of energy electricity can be converted into would be kinetic (motion) energy.

NO- Many of us confuse hearing and listening. In reality, they are two different things. The process we call hearing is purely a physical activity by which acoustic energy in the form of sound waves is changed to mechanical and electrochemical energy that the brain can understand. All of this has little to do with listening. Listening refers to the psychological processes that allow us to attach meaning to the patterns of energy we "hear."
Energy occurs in many form. There is potential energy, heat energy , light energy etc.
